My Accidental Jihad

This book was so interesting that I hated to put it down in the mornings, I thought about it all day long, and I read until my eyelids dropped in the evening. Usually, I delegate nonfiction for morning reading, but this book trumped everything else sitting on my reading table. Also, though I avoid memoirs like the plague, this book thoroughly entranced me.  This book was great and I loved how much I learned from reading this book about Islam.

Manhattan Classic: New York's Finest Prewar Apartments

This is an amazing book of all the great and fancy building in New York City.  The author finds all the most unique and powerful buildings in the city and lets you view them.  I have looked over this book a few times and every time I read it i see more unique things.

There Goes Gravity: A Life in Rock and Roll

This was a excellent book about the behind the scenes in rock in roll.  Lisa Robinson did a great job of making the reader feel like they were there with her.  The book covers a lot of great bands from that era and she really made it seem like she had a lot of fun while writing this book.  This is one of the better music books that I have read.

Driving With The Top Down.

This book was a very good read, the author does a great job of integrating everyone into the book and making it come alive.  The people in this book make you feel like you are a part of their lives and this book keeps you on the edge of your seat.  The story is fast paced from start to finish.

Listen to the Squawking Chicken: When Mother Knows Best, What's a Daughter To Do? A Memoir (Sort Of)

I come from a similar cultural background so a lot of what I read in this book felt vaguely similar to what I experienced with some of the people I knew from my childhood. The 'Squawking Chicken' is the type of character who will always have some type of wisdom to spout out(some of value, others questionable) and will never admit to ever being wrong, ever.  My mother and grandmother are like that and I could relate in so many ways too.

Thankful: Return to Sugarcreek, Book Two

I really enjoyed this book. This is of the Amish romance genre so if you're looking for something along those lines I'd recommend this book or the series. In this book Christina and Aden both have feelings for one another but neither one wants the other to find out, out of fear of rejection.

I liked the characters in this book and I liked the story. It was interesting and kept my attention and was a fairly quick read which I like. I would recommend this story as well as the author.

Lacan: In Spite Of Everything

This is a very interesting book about Lacan and his teachings and the person that he was,  the author does a great job of telling his life and all about his teachings.  This book really opened my eyes to a whole new way of thinking thanks to this author,  I read this book a few times to be able to completely understand what it means and what Lacan really means.
