I come from a similar cultural background so a lot of what I read in
this book felt vaguely similar to what I experienced with some of the
people I knew from my childhood. The 'Squawking Chicken' is the type of
character who will always have some type of wisdom to spout out(some of
value, others questionable) and will never admit to ever being wrong,
ever. My mother and grandmother are like that and I could relate in so many ways too.Sunday, July 20, 2014
